Calculate Your Attendance

How does this work?

Formula: If C is classes held, A is classes attended, and T is target %, then:

Classes needed = (T × C - 100 × A) / (100 - T)

If the result is positive, attend that many consecutive classes. If negative, you're already above the target!

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is 75% attendance important?

Most colleges and universities require students to maintain at least 75% attendance to be eligible for exams. This calculator helps you track if you're meeting this requirement and how many more classes you need to attend.

What if my attendance is already above 75%?

Great! The calculator will show you how many classes you can safely skip while still maintaining 75% attendance. However, we always recommend attending as many classes as possible for better learning.

Can I calculate for different target percentages?

Yes! While 75% is the most common requirement, you can change the target percentage to any value (like 80% or 85%) if your institution has different requirements.

Is this calculator accurate?

Yes, this calculator uses the standard attendance percentage formula used by educational institutions. However, always verify with your college's attendance policy as some institutions may have specific rounding rules.
